At Riderhood, protecting the privacy of our users is one of our top priorities. This Privacy Policy explains how personal data collected through the Riderhood mobile application and web services is processed, stored, and protected.
This policy has been prepared in compliance with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
a. Identity and Contact Information
Name, username, email address, phone number (optional). When you sign in using Google or Apple, we receive your name and email address from the respective provider. We do not receive or store your Google or Apple account password.
b. Location Information
Location sharing is entirely based on the user's explicit consent. This data is used to enable location-based features such as maps, ride tracking, nearby posts, and SOS emergency services. When the Rescue Network (SOS) feature is enabled, your location may be collected in the background even when the app is closed, solely to allow nearby riders to reach you in an emergency. Background location access requires separate explicit consent and can be disabled at any time in your device settings.
c. Camera and Media Access
The app requests access to your device camera and photo gallery to allow you to take photos or select images for your profile, posts, stories, marketplace listings, and messages. Media files are uploaded to our servers only when you explicitly choose to share them. We do not access your camera or gallery without your action.
d. Content Information
Photos, videos, comments, stories, marketplace listings, notification preferences, and other user-generated content shared within the app.
e. Anonymous Messaging (SOS)
When a user sends an SOS alert, nearby riders may respond and communicate through temporary anonymous chat. These messages are stored for the duration of the chat session (up to 1 hour) and are automatically deleted afterwards. No personal identity information is shared between parties during anonymous SOS communication.
f. Technical Information
Device model, operating system, app version, IP address, crash logs, performance metrics, usage analytics, and information from cookies or similar technologies. These data are collected only to ensure proper app functionality and enhance the overall experience.

Your data will only be processed for these purposes and never used for any unrelated or unauthorized activity.
Riderhood uses the following third-party services to operate and improve the application:
• Firebase (Google) — Authentication, database (Firestore), file storage, push notifications (FCM), crash reporting (Crashlytics), and performance monitoring
• Google AdMob — Advertising services; may collect device identifiers for ad personalization
• Google Maps / Places API — Map display, location search, and nearby services
• RevenueCat — Subscription and in-app purchase management
These services operate under their own privacy policies. We only share the minimum data necessary for their functionality.
Riderhood does not sell or trade personal data to any third parties. However, limited data may be shared in the following cases:
Service Providers: With the third-party infrastructure providers listed above, only the minimum technical data necessary for service delivery is shared.
Legal Obligations: When required by law, data may be shared with authorized public institutions.
All sharing is protected by confidentiality agreements and handled according to industry-standard data security protocols.
Your data is securely stored as long as your account remains active. When you delete your account, your data is retained only for the period required by law, in minimal form. After this period, data are anonymized or permanently deleted. Anonymous SOS chat messages are automatically deleted after the chat session expires.
Riderhood takes appropriate technical and administrative measures to protect user data. All data transmissions occur over secure connections (HTTPS, TLS). Authentication and access control are enforced through Firebase infrastructure. Security systems are regularly audited to prevent unauthorized access, data loss, or misuse.
Users have the following rights regarding their personal data:
• Access, correct, or delete their personal data
• Object to data processing
• Request data portability to another service
• Withdraw previously given consent
These rights can be exercised through the in-app settings or by contacting support@riderhood.app.
Riderhood is not intended for users under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If we become aware that a user under 16 has provided personal data, we will take steps to delete that information and terminate the account.
This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. Any changes will be announced along with their effective dates at riderhood.app/privacypolicy.

Riderhood olarak kullanicilarimizin gizliligini korumak bizim icin en temel onceliklerden biridir. Bu Gizlilik Politikasi, Riderhood mobil uygulamasi ve web hizmetlerimiz araciligiyla toplanan kisisel verilerin nasil islendigi, saklandigi ve korundugunu aciklar.
Bu politika, 6698 sayili Kisisel Verilerin Korunmasi Kanunu (KVKK) ve Avrupa Birligi Genel Veri Koruma Tuzugu (GDPR) ile uyumlu olarak hazirlanmistir.
a. Kimlik ve Iletisim Bilgileri
Ad, kullanici adi, e-posta adresi, telefon numarasi (opsiyonel). Google veya Apple ile giris yaptiginizda, ilgili saglayicidan adiniz ve e-posta adresiniz alinir. Google veya Apple hesap sifreniz tarafimizca alinmaz veya saklanmaz.
b. Konum Bilgisi
Konum paylasimi tamamen kullanicinin acik rizasina baglidir. Bu bilgiler harita, surus kaydi, yakin gonderiler ve SOS acil yardim hizmetleri gibi konum tabanli ozellikleri etkinlestirmek icin kullanilir. Kurtarma Agi (SOS) ozelligi etkinlestirildiginde, uygulama kapali olsa bile yakininizdaki motorculularin acil durumda size ulasabilmesi icin konumunuz arka planda toplanabilir. Arka plan konum erisimi ayri bir acik riza gerektirir ve cihaz ayarlarindan istediginiz zaman kapatilabilir.
c. Kamera ve Medya Erisimi
Uygulama, profiliniz, gonderileriniz, hikayeleriniz, pazar yeri ilanlari ve mesajlariniz icin fotograf cekmenize veya galeriden gorsel secmenize olanak tanimak amaciyla cihaz kameraniza ve fotograf galerinize erisim talep eder. Medya dosyalari yalnizca siz paylasmayi sectikten sonra sunucularimiza yuklenir. Sizin isleminiz olmadan kamera veya galeriye erismeyiz.
d. Icerik Bilgileri
Kullanici tarafindan paylasilan fotograflar, videolar, yorumlar, hikayeler, pazar yeri ilanlari, bildirim tercihleri ve diger kullanici uretimli icerikler.
e. Anonim Mesajlasma (SOS)
Bir kullanici SOS alarmi gonderdiginde, yakinlardaki motorcular yanit verebilir ve gecici anonim sohbet araciligiyla iletisim kurabilir. Bu mesajlar sohbet suresi boyunca (en fazla 1 saat) saklanir ve sonrasinda otomatik olarak silinir. Anonim SOS iletisiminde taraflar arasinda hicbir kisisel kimlik bilgisi paylasilmaz.
f. Teknik Veriler
Cihaz modeli, isletim sistemi, uygulama surumu, IP adresi, hata gunlukleri, performans istatistikleri, kullanim analitigi ve cerez benzeri teknolojilerden elde edilen bilgiler. Bu veriler, uygulamanin sorunsuz calismasi ve kullanici deneyiminin iyilestirilmesi icin sinirli olcude toplanir.

Riderhood, uygulamayi isletmek ve iyilestirmek icin asagidaki ucuncu taraf hizmetleri kullanir:

Riderhood, kisisel verileri ucuncu sahislara satmaz veya pazarlamaz. Ancak asagidaki durumlarda sinirli veri paylasimi yapilabilir:
Hizmet saglayicilar: Yukarida listelenen ucuncu taraf altyapi saglayicilarla, yalnizca gerekli teknik bilgiler paylasilir.
Yasal zorunluluklar: Yetkili kamu kurumlarinin talebi uzerine, yasal yukumluluk geregi veri paylasimi yapilabilir.
Tum paylasimlar, gizlilik sozlesmeleriyle koruma altina alinir ve veri guvenligi standartlarina uygun sekilde yurutulur.
Veriler, hesabiniz aktif oldugu surece sistemlerimizde guvenli bicimde saklanir. Hesabinizi sildikten sonra verileriniz, yasal yukumlulukler geregi belirli sure boyunca asgari duzeyde tutulur. Bu surelerin sonunda veriler anonimlestirilir veya kalici olarak silinir. Anonim SOS sohbet mesajlari, sohbet suresi sona erdikten sonra otomatik olarak silinir.
Riderhood, kullanici verilerini korumak icin gerekli teknik ve idari onlemleri alir. Tum veri iletimleri guvenli baglanti (HTTPS, TLS) uzerinden yapilir. Firebase altyapisinda kimlik dogrulama ve erisim kontrolu uygulanir. Yetkisiz erisim, kayip veya kotuye kullanim riskine karsi guvenlik sistemleri duzenli olarak denetlenir.
Kullanicilar asagidaki haklara sahiptir:
• Kisisel verilerine erisme, duzeltme veya silme talebinde bulunma
• Verilerinin islenmesine itiraz etme
• Verilerini baska bir hizmete tasima (tasinabilirlik hakki)
• Acik rizasini geri cekme
Bu haklar, uygulama ici ayarlar bolumunden veya support@riderhood.app adresine e-posta gondererek kullanilabilir.
Riderhood, 16 yasindan kucuk kullanicilara yonelik bir hizmet degildir. 16 yas altindaki cocuklardan bilerek kisisel veri toplamayiz. 16 yasindan kucuk bir kullanicinin kisisel veri sagladigi tespit edilirse, bu bilgileri silmek ve hesabi kapatmak icin gerekli adimlar atilir.
Bu gizlilik politikasi zaman zaman guncellenebilir. Yapilan degisiklikler yururluk tarihleriyle birlikte riderhood.app/privacypolicy adresinde duyurulur.
